How Do I Self-Haul My Recyclables?
Our location is easy to access. We’re right off Hwy 20 in Mount Vernon and next to the Skagit County landfill transfer station. Follow our signs to our drive-up scale where a friendly customer service member will assist you. They’ll ask you what materials you are bringing to recycle, and then direct you to the location to drop those materials within the yard. If you need assistance unloading anything, our friendly yard crew is always willing to help.
Your vehicle is weighed on arrival so that we can get a weight of the recycled materials you brought. After you drop off the recyclables you’ll come back over the scale to get the vehicle weight alone. This way we can calculate the weight of the materials you recycled and determine the fees. You are then able to pay with credit card or cash. Its that simple! Give us a try and lets keep as much waste out of our landfills as we can.
