Lautenbach staff welcomed Washington’s 40th Legislative District Senator Liz Lovelett and Representative Alex Ramel on a tour of our facilities July 7th. Topics discussed included Bellingham’s single-stream recycling pilot project, and new state legislation to divert food waste from landfills to composting facilities like our own Skagit Soils. We appreciated their knowledge, questions, and engagement on their visit to Ferndale and Mount Vernon.
